No. panadura.city is an independent digital platform serving the Panadura community. It is not affiliated with, operated by, or officially endorsed by any Urban Council, Pradeshiya Sabha, or the Government of Sri Lanka.

The app is in development and launches one feature at a time. Weather and AI forecasts come first, then bus timetables and live tracking. Join the beta to get an invite when it opens on your phone.

Yes. An alpha weather preview for Panadura, with land and sea forecasts, is on the home page. A bus tracking demo is at panadura.city/transit. The bus demo is a simulation, not real bus positions.

It blends several global weather models, giving the most weight to ECMWF, and shows a confidence score for each forecast. AI writes short summaries for the town and for the sea off Panadura, for fishermen and boat users.
